The 'Friends of Exeter Rugby Club', exist to provide a social forum and to foster the ethos of rugby union throughout Exeter Rugby Club. Our intention is also to provide financial (through fundraising) and practical support to Exeter Rugby Club, subject to the wishes of the members of the friends.

There is a minimum annual subscription of £5 to be a member of the Friends – entitling you to discount on events, and information on upcoming events before anyone else. 
News
The Friends of ERC are pleased to announce that more than £1,500 has been raised from the end of season party draw and funds raised on away coaches this season. This will be used to support the club buy essential equipment, including a Compex mahcine used by the physio department. This machine sends electric pulses through players' muscles to reduce inflamation and to stimualte healing. A big thank you to all those who donated prizes and bought tickets!
We now have a notice board in the County Suite (Members' Bar) keep an eye out for news and events.
SUPPORT THE FRIENDS WITH SPONSORED TRY COMPETITION
The Friends of Exeter Rugby Club have organised a sponsored try competition to raise extra funds this season
All supporters need to do is pledge to sponsor each and every try that the team scores in the league and cup during the 08/09 season. The minimum sponsorship is 10p per try. There is no maximum. You can be as generous as you want!
In addition, all try-sponsors will be entered into a competition to win prizes including a signed Chiefs’ shirt. The questions are below.
A few simple rules:
1. Any one can take up the sponsorship at anytime during the season but only on the proviso that they sponsor ALL of the tries for the season.
2. While the sponsorship is open for the whole season, the competition for the prizes will close on November, 30 2008.
3. Only try sponsors can enter the competition for the prizes.
TRY SPONSORS' COMPEITION QUESTIONS
Use your skill and rugby knowledge to predict the answers to the following three
questions, all of which relate to all league cap cup matches for the 2008/09 season:
Q1: How many tries will the Chiefs score (incl penalty tries) ?
Q2: How many different players will score tries (excl penalty tries)?
Q3: How many try bonus points will the Chiefs amass?
The winners will be those who are closest over all three questions, as determined by the Friends of Exeter Rugby Club.
